Dr. Deborah Kemper grew up riding horses in northern California and went to undergraduate and veterinary school at University of CA, Davis. After graduation, she was accepted into a one year Large Animal Internship at Texas A & M University . She also completed her Large Animal Internal Medicine Residency at Texas A & M University and successfully passed her medicine board examination in 2000. She is a diplomate of the American College of Internal Medicine in Large Animal and has been practicing in Ventura County since 1999.

Dr. Kent Sullivan was raised on a farm in northern Idaho and obtained his undergraduate degree at the College of Idaho. He went to veterinary school and completed a Large Animal Internship at University of Pennsylvania. He was then accepted into a 3 year residency program in Equine Surgery at University of CA, Davis. He became board certified in Large Animal Surgery in 1994 and has been performing surgery, consultations, and working in a performance horse practice since moving to Ventura County in 1993.

Gillian Henson is from Norwalk Connecticut and grew up riding in her local hunter/jumper circuit. At University of Vermont in undergrad, she was part of the dressage team and a TA for basics of equine class. Gillian worked as an equine and small animal technician before attending veterinary school at Ross University on the Caribbean Island of St Kitts. She completed her clinical training at University of Sydney, School of Veterinary medicine in Australia. She is interested in performance disorders such as respiratory diseases, lameness and infectious disease. Nicole Wettstein, originally from Eureka, IL, knew at a young age that horses were her future. She began showing Quarter Horses in youth western pleasure all-around events at local 4-H shows as well as breed shows in the area. She completed a bachelors of science degree in Equine Science at Colorado State University. Following graduation, she moved to Shelbyville, KY where she worked on two world class American Saddlebred breeding farms. The veterinary mentors that she worked with in Kentucky were the inspiration to go back to school and pursue veterinary medicine. In May 2017, Nicole graduated from the University of Illinois as a doctor of veterinary medicine. Her veterinary interests include equine reproduction and sports medicine.
